Hawzah News Agency-Anjuman Aalmi Tehreek Panjtan Pak in collaboration with Rawalpindi Arts Council arranged 9th Shahadat-e-Imam Hussain Conference entitled "Hazrat Imam Hussain Ki Talimaat Aur Ahed-E- Hazir" in connection with the advent of Muharam-ul-Haram in Rawalpindi on Saturday. The conference was presided over by its Chairman Pir Dr Azmat Ullah Sultan while DG Khana Farhang Iran Ali Agha Noori was chief guest at the occasion.

The conference was also addressed by Sayda Ruqia Shah, Naeem Akram Qureshi, Hakeem Muhammad Saharanpuri, Allama Saleem Haider, Dr Murtaza Mughal, Javed Bhatti, Rafiq Mughal, Dr Sajid Kiayani, Qari Muhammad Azam, Prof Saeed Khalid, Kokab Iqbal Abdullah Gul, Allama Izhar Bukhari, Sheikh Muhammad Anwar Al-Kausar University, Allama Arif Wahadi, Romana Bashir and Ikhlaq Zaidi. The speakers addressing on the occasion said that Shahadat-e- Imam Hussain is an example of truthfulness adding that Imam Hussain refused to accept falseness. Pir Dr Azmat Ullah Sultan highlighted the importance of Karbala incident. The conference was also attended by the leaders from Christian, Hindu and Bohra community.
